Bodywork and Paint
The car was restored by its previous owner. During the restoration, the existing paint was stripped back to bare metal. The bodywork was repaired where necessary before the car was completely repainted. The body and paintwork are in good condition. There are no known accident repairs. The rubber seals, glass, chrome trim and lighting are all in good condition. No further welding work is known to be required.
Technical Condition
The car is in good to very good mechanical condition. The engine and gearbox operate as they should. However, the vehicle has been stored for an extended period. As a precaution, the brakes and drivetrain should be inspected and serviced if necessary before the car is driven on public roads. No other mechanical defects are known. The maintenance history mainly relates to the restoration work carried out. Due to the period of storage, no recent routine servicing has been performed.
Interior
The interior was completely refurbished during the restoration. The upholstery was renewed and remains in good condition. The seats, door panels and headlining are all well presented. One of the dashboard gauges is currently not functioning. The remaining electrical components, including the lighting, switches and other controls, operate correctly.
Starting and Running
The engine starts readily and runs well. As the car has been stored for a considerable period, it has not been driven on public roads recently. An inspection of the brakes and drivetrain is recommended before the vehicle is put back into regular use.
