Wintertrial 2026 – Austria & Slovenia
Heritage Cars Delft Takes on the Winter Trial 2026
From January 25 to 30, 2026, Heritage Cars Delft participated in the iconic Winter Trial 2026, one of Europe’s most challenging winter classic rallies. Over six days, the rally led competitors through breathtaking Alpine landscapes in Austria and Slovenia, covering approximately 2,500 km on snow- and ice-covered roads, with navigation tests and time controls, a true regularity rally challenge on classic tires.
Our crew consisted of Geert Kistemaker behind the wheel of his distinctive DAF 55 Marathon (start number 27), with Remy van Pommeren as navigator. Together, they faced harsh winter conditions, icy mountain passes, and two special evening stages that made this edition particularly demanding yet unforgettable.
Over the six days, our DAF 55 proved to be indestructible, completing the entire rally without a single problem — an impressive achievement under such tough winter conditions. The combination of reliability, character, and perseverance made this Winter Trial a truly special adventure for the team.
We are extremely proud of our participation and look back on a fantastic week filled with sportsmanship, beautiful routes, and an international rally atmosphere. We would like to thank everyone who supported us throughout this adventure.

We thoroughly enjoyed both the driving and the great camaraderie of the event. Be sure to follow our news page and social media channels for more updates and rally stories!
